Hi kathy.... Lovely to finally be able to chat to you. Recently returned from a memorable cruise on golden princess and just fell in love with Alaska. Attending your lectures and listening to your commentaries made it all the more interesting of course. Your passion and love of the place is certainly contagious! Thankyou ..... Julie
I enjoyed the cruise on Golden last week so much I have gone back to TN and gushed about it to everyone and told everyone YOU made the whole trip so enjoyable with your commentaries. There is no way I would have ever known any of the info you gave. Thank you for what you do. Your lectures were a joy to attend. I WILL be back to do another cruise and I hope to see you again... God bless!!
This was my husbands first cruise and our first time to Alaska. We were on the Golden Princess and you made what was a wonderful beautiful place that much more enjoyable. i am only sorry that I didn't attend your first lecture, but we did buy a video our our cruise in addition to your video, so we will be reliving our journey again and again. Thanks again.
Thank you very much for your greetings. I had such a fantastic time on Coral Princess and I got so much information - thanks to you! For sure I´ll be back to Alaska again. For now I wish you and your husband also a fantastic time in the Mediterranean!
Thanks for your response to my email. I will tell my husband about the ship you will be on next year and maybe we will consider it. We would love to see you again and hear your interesting Alaska lectures.
We finally sat down last night and revisited our trip by watching "Majestic Alaska", what a great video. It had everything to bring back memories of what we saw. We both know that we want to go back to Alaska and see the details that we missed before.
Your on board lectures and pictures added a lot to our recent cruise on the Princess Coral. I learned a lot of new things about Alaska, the gold rush, the Klondike and the abundant whales and wildlife. All the nice weather days were great too. We got back to Ohio on Sept 4 and miss Alaska (and you) already. Warmest Regards
Thank you for making our trip to Alaska so enriching. We have enjoyed your DVD. It is a great synopsis of our trip. When I finish the book series I'm reading, your books are next in the stack. We would love to return to Alaska. We were there in 09 and in July/Aug 12. We haven't seen Denali yet. We also haven't seen the mts of Wrangel St Alias.
Hi Kathy. It was nice to here from you. It has been a little over two weeks since we've been back. I miss the cooler temps already. It hasn't got out or the 100 degress temps yet! It looks like the Hubbard Glacier is really nice now but I liked to view it when we were there. The one that most impressed me was the Marjorie Glacier and the "calving"
So glad I finally got this all set up! I have love YOU and your message since the first time you came to the Arizona Women's Retreat at Camp Pinerock! I loved my one and only trip to Alaska but know I have to return!
Yes kathy, I am the same person that you are thinking about (the photographer). I arrived well with my wife back to reality in S. Florida. I miss Alaska. It was the most beautiful world that I have ever seen.
I have posted some of my photos on you your website so you can enjoy some of the beauty that I captured through my lens. I hope you like them. If you want to see more you can go to my web page www.imagesbyjack.net I have many more for your viewing.
Again, it was a pleasure meeting you and maybe our paths will cross again some day. In the meantime stay warm and happy.

We too enjoyed having coffee with you. What a beautiful trip that was. You take the greatest photo's. Enjoyed the book Rendezvous with Majesty. I bought two of your beautiful calendars this summer and if you have any left would like to buy one of the sale ones if any left. but I don't see the site for those. My fault should have acted right away. Now that I have a little more time I'm going to watch the video again. I hope you will have a wonderful, relaxing time with your family in the coming months. I'll have to see what I can do about getting a photo on the member site, if not will do when someone can help me : ).
Kathy, two questions I thought of--coming into Ketchikan-the top of the mountains-a pointed area I believe you said was left pointed because glaciers did not cover it(right?)-what was the name of that? Also,at Nature sanctuary in Ketchikan,we visited a group of the only reindeers in Alaska--and they were female--do you know why there were only female reindeers there? I am trying to find more info on John Hopkins Glacier and the Harvard Glacier--any sites you could recommend? Thanks,MaryAnn
Kathy,I spent the week of 9/10-9/17 cruising on Coral Princess in Alaska.Your commentary and info on the ship was so helpful.I have a couple extra questions and am getting them together for you. I am now going thru and editing 1400 pictures--am thrilled to tell you I got the calving at Margerie Glacier in a series of 7 photos and am having a friend put together a collage of the calving. It was a great experience and was EXTREMELY impressed with everything Princess did on the cruise--will definitely go with them again.MaryAnn
