Coupling her early childhood in the North with extensive study and her own adult Alaskan adventures and travels, Kathy Slamp serves each summer as an onboard naturalist for a major cruise lines. In this capacity she shares her passion for Alaska with thousands of cruisers from every country in the world. Through her many Alaska adventures and travels and experience, Kathy has written and produced some extremely popular Alaska books, DVDs, as well as a yearly 18 month calendar. All these products can be seen by clicking the Products tab.

Wow! The months have flown by, and I find myself sitting once again in a Vancouver, BC Starbucks! On Weds. I boarded the Coral Princess for the 2012 Alaska season, but I boarded this time in San Pedro, California. The cruise line had me come aboard for the repositioning cruise, and it has turned out to be a stroke of genius!
